What do we focus on?
Most of our work is for homeowners who need something fixed or built outside the house. A driveway that has sunk, a patio that sends water toward the foundation, front steps that have pulled away from the porch, or a slab for a new shed. You can see each service on its own page:
Concrete Driveways
New driveways, tear-out and replacement, widening, and parking pads.
Concrete Patios
Backyard patios, extensions, and slabs for grills, hot tubs, and seating.
Stamped Concrete
Patterned and colored concrete that looks like stone, brick, or slate.
Concrete Sidewalks and Steps
Walkways, front steps, and stoops that are safe to walk on year round.
Concrete Slabs
Garage floors, shed and barn pads, and slabs for equipment or AC units.
Concrete Repair
Crack repair, resurfacing, and fixes for sunken or damaged sections.
We don't build foundations for new houses or do large commercial paving. If your project needs a structural engineer or a commercial paving company, we'll tell you that up front.
What can you expect when you call?
You'll talk to someone about the job, the town, and when you'd like it done. If it sounds like a fit, a site visit gets set up to look at the area and measure. After that you get a written estimate that lists what is included, like tear-out, base prep, thickness, reinforcement, and finish, so you can compare it to other bids line by line.
We'd rather lose a bid than skip the base work. Most of the failed concrete we see around Bowling Green failed because of what was underneath it, not the concrete itself. You can read more about that on the home page.
Why does local knowledge matter for concrete?
Concrete in Bowling Green has to deal with clay soil, freeze-thaw winters, and karst ground that can shift after heavy rain. A contractor who knows those conditions plans for them: deeper base prep where the ground is soft, an outdoor mix for winter, and drainage that moves water away from the slab. Local work also means knowing who to call about permits. Inside city limits that is the City of Bowling Green Building Division.
